Location: National Construction Training Campus, Mount Lucas
Certificate: QQI Level 5 – MMC Assembly and Installation – ICF Systems
Cost: Fully-Funded
Programme overview
ICF combines factory-manufactured building systems with on-site assembly and construction, requiring installers to understand both the system itself and the importance of accurate installation, sequencing and quality control.
Through technical theory and extensive practical workshop training, learners develop skills in interpreting technical drawings and manufacturer specifications, setting out, assembling and bracing ICF systems, installing reinforcement and coordinating service penetrations.
Learners also develop an understanding of concrete placement and the quality assurance and inspection processes required to identify common installation issues and achieve a high-quality finished system.
