Dr. Clare Eriksson, Director of Build Digital, with PJ Rudden, Chairman of Construction Sector Innovation and Digital Adoption at Dept of Public Expenditure, NDP Delivery and Reform today launched the Construction Professionals Skillnet Digital Construction Pack.
Dr. Eriksson welcomed the pack, saying “This pack is an important piece in any company’s toolbox on their digital journey. It is comprehensive and relevant to all companies, no matter their stage of digital development. The pack will complement, enhance and work in harmony with the Build Digitals newly released Digital Education and Training Inventory”
“The use of digital technology is central to productivity gains in the construction sector and it is great to see the Construction Professionals Skillnet and CIF support the use and understanding of technology to enable its adoption”, commented PJ Rudden.

The aim of the guide is to bring even the uninitiated reader logically through the pre-construction and delivery of construction projects using digital technology. The contents are clearly marked to make it easy to dip in and out of the sections as they are relevant. There are four main sections, other than the introduction and context of the guide. These are:
